Al is crazy there is no two ways about it. The only way to get those amazing images is to get right into the action. There is a serious risk to divers being in the water with potenital man eating sharks and lots of bluebottles. The trick is to be prepared with your camera at the ready so the moment a fish appears you can get in fast to capture it all on film.

Does Al run fishing charters?

Al isn’t a charter boat but he does fish 200 days a year chasing everything from striped marlin to kingfish, huge tuna to monster kingies. He has a regular crew most of who have worked with him for years. The aim is not only to catch as many fish as possible but get them on film both stills and video.
